February

We have been busy transforming our class for our Joyning the Learning topic. We have been writing newspaper articles and acrostic poems that we will display in our classroom as well as painting out in the super breakout area!
The SSPCA came to visit us and this was a really interesting talk, she had a slide show for us to watch as well. This showed us the different type of animals that the SSPCA help otters, roosters, red squirrels and foxes were just some of the pictures we were shown. We worked in groups and we had to decide what items were low risk, medium risk and high risk if animals were to find these items e.g a fish hook, sweet wrappers, can of coke, plastic can holders and a plastic bag.
As it was internet safety week we watched a very informative dvd about cyberbulling and how we can keep safe when we are using the internet.
Primary 5/6 have been very lucky as we have had Sean and Ian working with us doing golf last week and dodge ball this week. Both were great fun.
The rest of the term is going to be busy and we are looking forward to our open night to show our classroom.
