Term 3

We have had a busy term 3 and cannot believe we are approaching our Easter Holidays. We all had great fun transforming our classroom into Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. We wrote newspaper reports about Charlie finding the Golden Ticket and we worked in partners to research the steps of chocolate on the computer. We loved performing the Oompa Loompa dance and Mrs Irving videoed us and we wore white suits. This clip was shown to our parents at our open night and our parents loved this, we had great fun and it was a good laugh. Our open night was a great success and we enjoyed showing all our work and class to our families. Primary 2c also came to visit our class and we gave them a tour around our class.

The primary 6’s had a very informative day at Safe Kids with the p6’s from room 14 and Miss Paterson. This was held at St Mirren Park and the fire brigade, police, youth officers and the St Mirren coaches were there. We were put into different groups and we worked together. Internet safety, fire safety, knife crime and anti- social behaviour was covered and we learned so much during the afternoon. We were also very lucky as we all received a T shirt, a pencil, rubber and some flavoured water. The schoolwas also very lucky to be involved in the Lepra workout and this was also great fun and kept us fit as well.

Primary 5/6 and Mrs Irving hope you all have a lovely Easter!
